Blanca Martin

 

 My name is Blanca Martin and I have been a professional in the beauty industry since the year 2000. My interest in hair began as a little girl, always wanting to beautify anything and everything that I came into contact with. I have kept that same enthusiasm ever since and use it on a daily basis in my work. I love to help my clients achieve their ideal or desired beauty transformations.  In other words, if it is important to my client it is important to me.

 

Hair was my first love and has become a lifelong passion.  I began my career in hair by donating hair services to family and friends. This was such a rewarding experience for me that I was able to donate my talents to those who were struggling financially and also for those who were willing to allow me to get creative with no professional background at the time. The power of beauty is incredible! To not only empower, but to give that spark…to give a client that little boost of self-confidence is an indescribable feeling. Soon after it made me realize that this was my calling.

 

After graduating High School, I left the country for two years to Mexico where I attended and graduated Academia Lupita Cosmetology College in Tepatitlan Jalisco and subsequently worked for a few high profile salons.  After I returned to the U.S., I decided to further my education by attending the acclaimed Federico Beauty Institute in Sacramento CA.  In addition, I have had multiple years of advanced education which include certification in Toni & Guy Academy advanced hair dressing for modern classics, certification with Hair Locs International for the permanent application of hair extensions (this system is 100% Russian and European virgin hair), and certification as an Eyelash Custom Extension Technician for LAshX by celebrity make-up artist Mandy. I also constantly attend professional hair shows across the country to keep me up to date in the latest hair trends and techniques.
